• This is an operating system. If your computer has a bios and I certainly hope it does, set the drive which contains the Win 8.1 disc as the primary and restart the system. Follow the procedure for installing the OS and then reset the bios to boot from the C drive.

• Yes it will just remember to boot fromm D drive and should be what you need
