• Yep. you'll need to do the free 8 to 8.1 upgrade in the windows store first though.

• Yes it will, you need to do several updates first but it will change you software from windows 8 to windows 8.1 pro with media center.

• you can upgrade to 8.1 for free from the mi rosoft store, then apply the 8.1 pro pack
