If you purchase the Windows 8.1 PRO PACK, you can install it on all 3 computers. It is also cheaper than buying 3 single licenses.

I'm sure you can call Microsoft and they will give you a discount for that 1 Key to have more licenses, with other machines. Even if you installed the machine with Windows 8.1 and decided to remove it, the Key is still entitled to that machine. It's not like Software, sorry!

And as with any version of Windows, once Windows 8 is installed it records the use of that license with Microsoft. Why does that matter? Because when/if you try to install that copy of Windows on your 2nd or 3rd machine it's going to stop you and say this license has already been used. Hope that helps.
