Hello there, You are able to upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 8.1 as long as your PC meets the Windows 8.1 system requirements. For more information, please visit: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/system-requirements I hope this was helpful to you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I've read, it can be upgraded. See other posts about updating drivers for Win8 or 8.1 compatibility. Check device manufacturers' websites for downloads or Windows 8 (8.1) compatibility.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, there is no direct upgrade path from XP or even Vista to 8.1. You would have to upgrade to Vista first and then to Win 7 in order to upgrade to Win 8.1. In your case, you would perform what is known as a "clean install" and have to reinstall all your applications, and transfer over all your data and settings. I would recommend that you first run the free tool from Microsoft called "Windows Upgrade Assistant" to find out if your current hardware and software will work with 8.1, before you spend any money on an upgrade. If your hardware is too old, it would be cheaper to buy a newer computer with Windows 8.1 already on it.
