From my experience the controller will work with Bluetooth although, without the dongle I had limited success with the headphone jack on the bottom of controller. When using the Microsoft Dongle, all sound gets directed to the controller when plugging the headset into, along with microphone compatibility whereas when connected to built in computer Bluetooth nothing happens when connect the audio headset but the controller works in alike fashion when not considering the audio issues.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is bluetooth and should pair with any bluetooth platform. I regularly pair with a ipad, Note9 phone, gaming pc...and oh yea the Xbox.
