There already is recharging stations and batteries out on the market.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can buy batteries that have a USB input for charging. They can be swapped out and charged separately if needed. Granted they are third party manufacturer made, but it does the job.

Personally I prefer to use rechargable batteries that I can swap out when they run out of power. On the PS4 you are forced to use the USB cable to charge, which I don't like to do while I'm gaming.
