You can use it to buy games or buy stuff within games. For example, in Fortnite you can purchase V-Bucks with it. You can also purchase music, etc.; description is on card.

For example, if you buy Madden 20 you can play the game and get updates but you can't play online with other people without having the xbox live subscription.
