I just purchased a six month Xbox live membership & I didn't notice it was 2016 does that make a difference in using it in 2017? We currently do not have a membership ! null

I do not believe that it will make a difference. I would keep your receipt and scratch the code and give it a try. Should work with zero issues.

It shouldn't matter. It should roll over but if you have questions, you can contact Microsoft about it.

it shouldn't matter. it's all about the code you enter. I don't think they ever expire
