This product will still work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Xbox One X DOES NOT require an HDR Tv but to take full advantage of its capabilities, an HRD Tv is recommended. However, even a Full-HD 1080 will work (they say some games might offer higher frame rates on 1080 also). So you will be able to play in 4K on your Tv but won't be able to take advantage of the HDR technology (high dynamic range - improved colors, brightness and contrast). Not all the new games will support HDR though, some of them are only enhanced to support 4K resolution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A 4k TV with HDR is only required to get the most out of the Xbox One X. Even on a normal 1080p TV though, games will still look better thanks to the extra power in the console!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the HDR output settings can be modified on the Xbox One X. It should work on your TV..... I can't verify yet of course, but I can't see why they would make it a mandatory item... The wording may be that you need a HDR 4K Tv to get the HDR benefits of the console.....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you will need to switch out your current 4k tv for a UDH 4k TV
