I preordered it as well. About 40 minutes after preorders went live, the preorder option for the scorpio edition disappeared. So I assumed that if it was a glitch, my order would have been cancelled but so far nothing has happened so it seems legit. Maybe some people cancelled their preorders for the scorpio edition and there were a few extras left?

I called customer service to confirm I would be getting them and they said I would. Bother orders were cleared by my bank and are just waiting for release day for BB's end to charge me.
