What happens if you get the total tech, buy the Xbox, and then cancel the total tech membership?

@Samm they keep your money and total tech expires at the end of the year. You will not be getting your money back, a few people learned the hard way. As for the date, no one knows which is a good thing.

Yes. I was told by customer support that you WILL have to purchase the TotalTech membership in order to even be qualified to preorder this product. This is very unfortunate and BestBuy will never be getting my business again.

As unfortunate as the paywall is, it’s the best defense against scalpers. Plus the benefits of that $200 paywall are well beyond worth it. One of the sales that came with that paywall was $1k off of an OLED tv, so makes sense to block scalpers when given all of the other advantages.
