The controller doesn't come with a recharge battery, but you can buy any rechargeable battery for the controller. Microsoft does sell a rechargeable battery pack. Energize rechargeable batter are good as well.

No there not rechargable just takes 2 AA batterys. You can purchase a rechargeable pack for about $20 from best buy or even from amazon.
