- Answer It's a wireless controller and can be charge on a rechargeable battery holder. It does have a battery compartment that you can put two AA batteries in as well.

- Answer No this isn't an elite controller. You'd have to mod it and break warranty yourself and do "surgery" on the controller to metaphorically swap the default xbox controllers.
