Well first I suggest you turn on your console first and then next there will be a button on both the Xbox and controller and this is used to connect them together. The Xbox one button is located a tab under the power button and the Xbox controller is on RB and LB tab and it’s very easy and visible to see. Press your controller’s button first then the Xbox. To know it works is when your Xbox controller stops blinking and fully stays on.

Download the new xbox drivers Omega or Delta under your xbox insider app on the xbox. that should take care of the issues you are having

1: Turn on your Xbox 2: In the front of your Xbox next to the usb input, there is a sync button. Press and hold till the Xbox light starts blicking. 3: Turn on your controller 4: on the front of your controller there is a button next to the usb c input Press and hold this button till the Xbox light starts to blick on the controller. 5: wait for both the Xbox lights on the controller and the Xbox X to stop blick. Once this happens they are synced and ready
