- Answer No this isn't an elite controller. You'd have to mod it and break warranty yourself and do "surgery" on the controller to metaphorically swap the default xbox controllers.

- Answer The controller itself has no battery, other than the fact it comes with two AA batteries in the packaging. The battery compartment cover is the same dimensions as the XB1 controller, so rechargeable battery options for the XB1 controller like the plug and play kit (Will require a separate USB-C cable, as it includes a USB micro connector) or the Power-A (the custom battery cover with the 2 windows will fit) will also work with the new controller.

QuestionWhat's the difference between this QAT-00001 and 1V8-00001 model (also sold by Best Buy for the same price)? Both are Bluetooth wireless, both are Carbon Black, but 1V8-00001 includes a USB-C cable. QAT-00001 doesn't include a cable. So why buy QAT-00001?
