A:AnswerHi Susie. Thanks for reaching out about this! That sounds like an awesome project. We can definitely install a backup camera for the vehicle. Like you kind of mentioned, we'll want to use a different style of backup camera rather than a license plate model. I'd recommend this model or something similar: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/pioneer-back-up-camera-black/4583927.p?skuId=4583927. We'd recommend either of you talking to one of our Autotech specialists in your local Best Buy store. They'll be able to make a good recommendation. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerHi there! Thank you for reaching out about this. There are several options to choose from for a backup camera. We'd recommend speaking with your local Best Buy Autotech specialist to get the best option picked out for you. I'd recommend looking into either an Echomaster or Metra branded unit as those are most popular. If you head into your local Best Buy store, they can help you pick out a model and then set up an appointment for you to get it installed. I hope this helps! You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for your great question! We might be able to do this. Being a larger and more intricate job, we'd recommend speaking with your local Best Buy's Autotech specialist to make sure we're on the same page for this install. This would ensure everything goes smoothly. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerHi Yesus! Thank you for reaching out with this question. I'm sorry you're having issues getting ahold of the store. That may be a store that's still closed or only has a limited functionality. At this time, it doesn't look like their Autotech services are up at least. We have rolled out Autotech services in most stores recently. We hope to help you out soon!!
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for reaching out about this! We should be able to do that as long as the backup camera is compatible with the vehicle and you have all the wiring. We'd recommend making sure and verifying with the Autotech specialist at your local Best Buy. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerHI Bryan. Thanks for your great question. The $129 service for installing the backup camera is just for installing the camera and connecting it up to an existing touch screen receiver. If you did purchase the radio through us, it's possible it came with a free install however. We'd recommend connecting with your local Best Buy to iron out the details and get you set up with an appointment. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerHi Edwin. Thanks for your great question. We absolutely can do that. We would recommend connecting with your local Best Buy's Autotech team. They can set you up with an appointment to get it looked at. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerHows it going Dennis.
So im not the installer but I think I did get the backup camera installation for free. It works great! but one thing is make sure the camera is flushed with
the license plate. Mine is sticking out and I keep hitting because I am moving my drums a lot.
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerI am not familiar with the picture that is shown. I purchased a camera from Amazon and had to get another piece (i.e. the harness) in order for Geek Squad to install the camera. Not sure what is the output socket, but I do know that the camera package I purchased did not include the harness.
A:AnswerHi Willy. Thanks for your question! We can absolutely do that as long as the backup camera is compatible. You are correct on the price unless you're a Total Tech Support member. Then in that case, the entire service is covered. If you have any further questions, we'd recommend getting in contact with your local Best Buy. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerHi Devin. Thanks for your awesome question. At this time, we don't have a definitive timeline for Autotech services! As you maybe have seen, we started slowly opening a bulk of our stores with our Geek Squad precincts and parts of the store. We do hope to resume Autotech services as soon as possible. You can view the news we release on the front page of our website for more information. Or you can give us a call at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778.
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for reaching out to us about this! We might be able to do this but need some more information to make sure. For support with this, please call us at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778.
A:AnswerHi Bob. Thanks for your question. The price is reflective of how complex the work can be depending on the vehicle. Underneath Total Tech Support, this service along with most autotech services are covered as well. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.
A:AnswerHi Deb. Thanks for your question. We should be able to help out with this. Being that this is a newer vehicle, we should be able to install most backup cameras up to your built in screen. We'd recommend heading into the store to connect with your local Best Buy Autotech team to find the best option for you and get that install set up. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerHi Shiley. Thanks for your question. We might be able to do that. On our side, there's nothing that says we couldn't connect a backup camera to your existing display. We'd recommend getting in touch with your local Best Buy's Autotech team to verify before making any purchasing decisions. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for your question! We might be able to do that. We'd recommend getting in contact with your local Best Buy's Autotech team to get specifics on this particular setup. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
