Try running a long enough cable to but the antenna next to a window or if you can place it outside it will pick up a lot of channels.

If you mount this to a wall where one side of the antenna is obstructed I have found that reception is horrible. Worked fine when stuck on a window, but it looks like you know what. I wish you all the best in your search for an antenna that works for your specific situation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The biggest difference between this one and the 9 dollar one you have is the extended coaxial cable. I only get three channels myself but if you can get it close to a window it does tend to pick up more channels. Also if you can somehow put it in your attic it's supposed to get better reception. Plug the amplifier into an outlet versus the tv itself. That got me one more channel.
