Its the distance from the radio towers to your antenna. The more distance, the more channels you’ll get. That said, there are usually several towers in each town so you probably are not that far from them, but regardless of that you’ll get more channels with the better antennas
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suspect it will not work. I live 40 miles from the Nashville and it although the antenna israted at 50 miles doesn't have the power to pull in the channels as well as expected. Would I buy and try a 60 mile unit in your case. Ask the guys in your local Best Buy what they think. I am not totally happy with this unit and know the RCA DID NOT WORK well at all. I tried it and returned it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unless you have clear line of sight this is not the product you should use. The 50 Miles is the max and I'm at 38 miles and well anything in the way trees or hills will have some issues on the strength. I would in your case go with something that is external and maybe on top of home or mast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 50 miles is the MAX distance - without any obstructions. We live 50 from Tallahassee and reception is sketchy on their channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What matters is how far you are to the nearest broadcast tower. Do a quick web search and you will find lots of sites, such as Antenna Web, to tell you the locations of towers near you and what channels you can receive with them.
