• Some of the channels I receive are in both HD and SD signal. This antennae is for receiving local programming wherever you live.

• Don't believe you can run two input signals into the sam input jack. You'd have to have two inputs on your TV and simply switch between the two sources - either the Antenna/Cable input or some other HDMI/computer input - watching one source at a time.

• This antenna is designed as a stand alone device and does not work through or with your directv box so no, it will not enhance HD quality in that manner. If you are in a good location for over the air TV reception the antenna itself will provide HD quality programming.
