If your TV was made prior to 2009 there is a very good chance that you would need a digital converter box in order to use an antenna with your TV. If you are not sure if your TV has a digital or ATSC tuner you can reach out to the maker of your tv, provide them with the model number and they can let you know for sure. A digital converter is a relatively inexpensive cost and there is no monthly fee. Once you purchase it you are all set.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Works fine with a digital converter box for the older sets but using the built in digital tuner on the newer sets and powering by the USB out on the same TV, with a short cable run, will yield better reception that is less prone to interference. No ghosting like in the old analog signals. With digital, the signal is either there or its not. 0 and 1 data is brought in, briefly buffered and processed so that what comes out is always nice and clear... if the data is there.. ;)
