Probably not anywhere but the window. I have a house with aluminum siding, and the only place the antenna would pick up any channels at all was in the window. Still, all you can do is try it out in different locations and see what it receives.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, any antennae test will be a test. Pretty hard to predict, even by the pros. However, in your case I would guess it not working very well. Does your cell work there? With the door closed? That would be a clue, even thought they are totally different frequencies. If possible, hang it outside--in the direction of the station's towers, if you know. If you come up with a temporary hanging, so that you just put it out when you need it, that might be your only way.
