• The roof should not impact reception but if the walls of your home are made of stucco THAT will impede reception since there is metal mesh in the construction. Window placement would be necessary for any chance at a signal or a roof mounted antenna may also be an option.

• I think so. I live in brick house sourrounded by a forest and it picks up about 12 local channels with reception equal to or better than the cable service I was using.

• Depends on the signal you can see! go to nocable.org and input your address. This model sticks up on a wall, not on the roof and is used for indoor use
