Connect the antenna directly to your TV, unless it's too far away to connect. You can use more cable if you need to.

BUT - if your "cable coming out of the wall" comes from a Cable TV system or from a dish up on the roof then you will need to change the "INPUT" setting on your TV.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The antenna must be connected to the TV and a channel scan run on the tv so that the tv can look for signals that are available in your area. The wall cord has nothing to do with using any OTA antenna. Good luck cutting the cord!
