• It depends on how many miles you are from a tower and if there are things like trees in the way. I tried one at my vacation home in the northwoods and I could not get any stations. Seems to work better in metro areas.

• We purchased this to replace our rabbit ears and it did not work any better maybe not as well, so we took ours back. We are in a hard to reach area in the valley, but you never know until you try it I guess
