You are protected up until renew date anything after that date is not protected.

No it will not be protected when you decide to purchase total tech you are in it for the long haul, unfortunately.

If Warrenty (manufacturers) is expired and don’t renew, your product is no longer covered

I don’t think so. Read the fine print, but from what I understand it’s only valid while you are an active member.
