No it’s a protection plan. If it is bought on a computer it might cover the removal of viruses that said computer might acquire. All windows computers ship with windows defender, which every anti virus testing/review sites have shown to be just as good as commercial products. It is on by default, so feel free to use your windows computer with no stress/no need to shell out more money for anti virus, windows has it built in! And it’s a pretty dang good one on windows 10 and 11 systems,
