no. this game is world different than those old mks. much better in my opinion but also much more complex

I don’t think it is. But I didn’t play a lot of 64. In the App Store on your phone they have a game just like it. I would try it that way first make sure you like it before buying it. Or I recommend watching someone play on YouTube

Much better graphics and fight scenes then the original ones. i even have the ones from the Trilogies one PS 2 and Mortal Kombat vs DC comics on play station 3 to name a few.

It’s similar but to the 10th power.The fighting mechanics,and story are much richer and deeper than ever before.If you enjoyed previous installments such as mk3 on PlayStation,or Mk4 on the N64 you will not be disappointed.
