I bought mine and am using it with Visible and it was very simple to activate my current SIM with it.  
I would double check with your provider to make sure there are no compatibility issues.

T-Mobile is plug n play, simply insert your active sim and you are good to go. As to spectrum I do not know. It is a great phone.

According to the Motorla website both carriers should be fine. This phone also works with both e-sim or physical sim as I used the esim on Google Fi. Hope that helps
