• Well this was back when the promotion was on, but yes, it did. I applied the credit before I opened my 360, because it was printed on the receipt.

• Yes, you generally get the same promotions as if the item was brand new. Every item has it's own MAC ID so as long as it wasn't already registered before, you should be okay.
