you can sync the music and play through bluetooth head phones. Pedometer still works. Next wear update will add wifi support. Other then that no.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is pretty much an extension of the phone. The notifications are pushed to the watch from the phone. It works great away from the phone but only as a watch. You can set alarms and it will vibrate but it offloads most of the work to the phone to do and then that information is passed back to the watch. So in short it is really "tied" to the phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The watch will still perform some basic functions, like tell the time, measure your pulse and steps. Depending on which watchface you're using and what apps are installed on the watch itself, you MAY be able to do a few more things. Ultimately, though, the Moto 360 is designed to work in conjunction with an Android phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With the watch disconnected from the phone you can still listen to music on the device: it has 2.5 gbs usable storage. And most apps that don't require a network to run. I.E. any games you install. Fitness apps that track heart rate and steps. It won't know where you went but will know how fact your heart was pumping and how many strides you took. Hope thus helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some of the features are tied to the phone exclusively but there are some features that function on the watch as a standalone. You are able to view the Pedometer and Heart Rate Monitor as well as change the settings. When i first picked up the device my smartphone battery was low, too low to turn on bluetooth in my opinion so i wore the watch for almost 10 hours in standalone mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A lot of third party apps run just fine without a connection. You still have all of the functionality of the watch, pulse monitor, and even your music provided you've opted to store some of your music on the 360's memory. Of course you can sync it with a Bluetooth headset making it easy to take a short run without reaching for your phone. Where it really shines is when it's connected to Google Services and your phone. The Google Voice search and Google Maps for the 360 have come in very handy. Having notifications at a glance without the phone is priceless!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You MUST have your phone with you at all times if you want notifications on messages, phone calls, etc. It wouldn't be worth much other than time without it. If you want that functionality, look into a Samsung Gear S but be aware you will have to have a separate "phone" plan for the watch!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most of the information comes from the Bluetooth connected to your phone, but you can download some music to the watch to listen to if you have a Bluetooth headset. Other than that without being connected to your phone it will just be like wearing a normal watch to tell the time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most of the functions that the watch can perform is via the phone. It's just another dimension to interact with information without having to use your phone in certain cases. The watch will perform as a watch and have not cloud connectivity without your phone, but you can use other features like HRM and certain standalone games that can be played on the watch (like flappy birds).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It functions still as a regular watch date/time. There are several occassions I've left my phone home/in car etc.. It will still operate the built in fuctions like heart rate, step counter and as soon as you are close to phone it will resync.
