• You may have to take it to the carrier to have a new SIM activated for the phone. For my AT&T phone the old SIM worked fine but for my Sprint phone the old SIM would not work and the carrier said they had to put a compatible SIM in the phone and now it works free of charge. Hopefully that's all you need to do.
