- Answer This is GSM. Yes, it takes a sim card & has a mini SD card slot under the back cover. I don't know if it'll work in the Philippines. This phone is supposed to be compatible with all providers except Verizon because they use CDMA phones.

- Answer All androidwear watches will be compatible. Pebble, the Microsoft bands and the Samsung Gear S2 are also contain some levels of compatibility. Android wear watches such as the moto360 and zenwatch2 will be most compatible. Most activity trackers will also work. As long as their companion apps are on the Google play store there will be functionality.

- Answer I believe you can. I just left Republic for Metro PCs. Wait! Now that I think about it, Republic is considered VoIP. This phone does take a sim card.

- Answer What are you wishing to unloçk? If you're hoping to get it unlocked for Verizon or especially sprint then you were misinformed about the moto g's mobile antenna technology.

- Answer It depends on the carrier you will be using. If it is GSM service you should have some access based on inevitable GSM band compatibilities. Download the motor buying guide to make sure.
