“In spite of it being unlocked it can only be either GSM or CDMA they are two entirely different networks. Usually the phones are either built or work differently. Please advise.”

• These Motorola phones will work with either band. I've been on the Verizon network, AT&T as well as T-Mobile with no problems with any of them other than coverage.

• I do believe that this particular phone does both but I needed CDMA and it was not a problem.
