Yes but check your service plan's streaming data option you may have to upgrade your service to include more streaming data depending on how much you plan on using the hotspot.

Yes it can and it works great. We had some storms in our area and my Home Internet was out for 3 horrible days. This Moto Power G came to the rescue. I went to settings and turned on the mobile Hotspot setting. All our laptops and tablets computers worked very well with this phone as a Mobile Hotspot. Just make sure you type in the correct Network Password thats listed in the Phones Settings.
