When turning on your moto g power for the first time it will ask you if u want to transfer from your Gmail cloud account. Choose the Gmail cloud account and select your old moto x device. Just make sure that you sync up everything from your moto x to the Gmail cloud account before setting up ur new phone. To sync on ur moto x go to settings>accounts>google>account sync then make sure all tabs are turned on to start the syncing process. Then hit the three dots at the top right corner and select "sync now". This will sync everything at once instead of having to do it one at a time. Also make sure you sync your photos and videos too. Go to Google photos and push the little circle at the top right corner then select account storage. Scroll to the bottom and select backup device folders. Then turn on all folders you want to backup. This process may take a while depending on how many pictures/videos you have. You can see your backup progress on that little circle in the top right hand corner that I mentioned earlier. I would also recommend to back up your photos and videos to an SD card. They're a lot easier to access that way and it's easy to transfer from phone to phone.
