• Yes absolutely as I have cricket took out my sim card and placed it in my moto G and I was on my way.

• You can transfer most modern Android sim cards between devices. It is like a USB ID in a way. Just set up your card to the new phone and things will be good. All your personal info for your number will always be on that card unless you get a new card without the data transfer
