• The battery is not removable. Don't know how many years it will last, but it's 4000mah and it's got incredible stamina. I can go much longer on a charge than other phones in the family.

• This is considered not user replaceable battery. I think a tech might be able to replace it. The average lifespan is considered to be 2 -3 years depending on use.
