A:Answer They are partially compatible with several of the budget offshoots. I highly recommend looking at the compatibility chart for the phone at Motorola’s site for the Moto G6. You will save a lot of money and frustration. We had cricket and it worked very well with my wife’s phone (the moto g6). Though, it will say something like some of the features may not work with this phone. It’s mostly compatible with all cdma and gsm carriers. So, you could use them, but there has been issues with some carriers. I have the moto g7 and had compatibility issues with cricket and straight talk. My wife had very little issues with cricket wireless. It’s also a matter of where you are geographically. Definitely check the phone compatibility chart and the map of the carrier. Also, one other side note that people may not think about is checking what bands the LTE covers. You can find a lot of info if you do some googling for message boards that discuss what bandwidth goes with which carrier and what signal you may or may not get. Hope that helps.
