“When you go to get the phone can they do the process with T-Mobile in store? Don't want to have to go to T- mobile to get it activated too. I want to have 1 trip. Im going to have switch my number to smaller SD card to fit in that phone, Instore process??”

If you are staying with the same carrier it's just a matter of inserting the SIM card. As far as phone data; you could either backup to Google on your old phone, then use that backup on the new phone to restore it. Or...T-Mobile may have a cloud backup for your old phone then transfer it to the new phone....Or I've had the good folks at Best Buy do an in store backup phone to phone. Whichever way you choose it's a "one stop shop".
