Yes, that's what I did. You just need to transfer the sim card from the old phone to the new one. Using the wi-fi on both phones, you can easily transfer all your apps and data. I would recommend keeping your old phone around just in case. You can use the Android File Transfer app to get at anything you might need that didn't get transferred.

Yes the unlocked moto g7 is compatible with gsm or cdma. T-mobile, too easy! Just pop in your current sim card and turn it on . You will be set.
