The Moto G7 charges using the high powered 15W (3X more powerful than standard chargers) USB C. It doesn't use wireless charging. 
Wireless charging would be a downgrade.

Alas, much as many of us would have liked that, Motorola did not include the hardware for inductive charging in this product.
