I ordered one and plan on activating it on my Verizon prepaid number. Just have to log in to your account select change phone and type in the IMEI number. Then pop in your sim card. https://www.verizonwireless.com/unlocked-smartphones/one-action-unlocked/

When I had Verizon I would have to bring the unlocked phone to a Verizon store so they can add the IMEI to there data base. I ight be able to do it over the phone but I always went to Verizon store. Of they can't get it to work then you can always return the phone to best buy just be sure to return it within the return period

The clerk at Best Buy checked with Verizon that I was eligible for an upgrade and gave me a new sim card for my new Moto One that was tied to the new phone.
The old sim card will not work with the new phone.

you can't get it at the upgrade price on prepaid though
