This is how I purchased mine. I'm a current Verizon customer. Best Buy was able to access my Verizon account with my permission and activate my phone. I was in the store at the time that it was activated. They will also help you with setting up the sim card and data transfer. I think it's best to plan to be in the store for at least 30 minutes for the whole process to be completed depending on how much data you have to transfer from your old phone. Overall, this was a quicker and smoother process than going to Verizon!
