• Yes it will do 5G data on Verizon's towers but it depends on where you're located. I have averaged around 160 Mbps on speedtest which is about 4x the speeds I got with my old 4G phone. Check verizon.com/coverage-map/ to see where there is 5G coverage.

• Switch to T-Mobile. T-Mobile has more 5G coverage than anyone else, and, offers 5G on 3 bands so far.
