No, this is the unlocked Motorola version, which includes all of Motorola's software add-ons and will be supported by Motorola, including software updates. The Project Fi version is only available from Google and its stock software updates will be provided by Google, not Motorola.

If you review the details on the Motorola website, this device has Amazon Alexa enabled on it as well as some other Motorola apps. That is not the case on the Android One version. So, there are minor software differences between the two.
