• We have an acre square lot and it still works, yes it only goes in a circular radius. You only need to walk out 120 feet to set the sinc until it beeps continuously and walk back till it stops and set a flag. Keep walking around your yard as far as it lets you go in a circle and set flags about two feet inside the beeping. Hope this helps. Our boxer is a big baby, so we only have it set to beep and he comes running back everytime.
