How does it mount to the back of smooth monitors? null

Hello Shannon, the only way to install monitors/TV's is if you have a bolt pattern on the back of the monitor/TV that is referred to as the "VESA pattern"

Actually, you can just but an adaptor for the non-VESA monitors. Search: VESA Adapter Mount Bracket Kit for Non VESA

The back of your monitor must have the VESA standard four screw holes (some monitors come with the screws). The plate can fit both VESA arranged four hole alignments.
