In most instances, it's easier to know which i5, but for a gaming PC, you'll want a power supply that has a PCIe 6-pin for the power header. 450Ws or Higher is a good start. According to UserBenchmark.com, the 1650 is only a 20% increase in performance. The 1050ti is much older though, so the newer 1650 can receive a longer support life through driver optimization.
