• I am not aware of the MSI part number. MSI is using Samsung RAM. DDR4 3200AAA is the specification. The manufacturing specification is DDR4 2666 is what is listed.

• The memory that came installed is:SK Hynix 8GB DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz 260-pin SO-DIMM ram memory. MSI does not make memory, so just buy memory with these specs. If you are upgrading to 2x16 modules, you can get any brand you want as they will be sure to have matched specifications. If you are just buying one memory module, buy the exact same one for a match set.
