• I think your question is a loaded one. Depending on a bunch of factors. First yes the board supports both, but I have no idea what actual bios will be loaded on to the board you buy. I personally have the 5900 chip and I updated with no issues to the newest retail BIOS. In my case the loaded bios didn’t support some of the newer memory chipsets so I wanted to update for that alone.
